Aldi Red Bag Chicken - Air Fryer
To cook Aldi Red Bag Chicken in the Air Fryer:
Cooking the red bag chicken in the air fryer is the easiest and fastest way to cook it. I cook them for 15 minutes at 400 degrees, but if you like it extra crispy you can go up to 18 minutes. It is recommended to flip the chicken half way through the cooking cycle, but it’s not necessary.
If you don’t have an air fryer you can cook this chicken in the oven. It will take about double the time it takes in the air fryer.
To cook Aldi red bag chicken in the oven:
Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees
Place you chicken breasts on a greased cookie sheet
Place the pre-heated oven for 20 minutes
Flip Chicken over
cook for another 15 - 20 minutes depending on how crispy you like your chicken.
Why You'll Love Aldi Chicken Breasts
I think you will love these breaded chicken breast fillets just as much as I do. I love a homemade chicken cutlet, but let’s be honest…They are a lot of work and making them creates a lot of dishes.
The pre-breaded chicken fillets make it easier to have this dinner on a busy weeknight. Save the homemade breaded chicken cutlets for a rainy weekend when you have some extra
I also love them because they are SO EASY to make.
How to Use Aldi Red Bag Chicken
Here are some of my favorite air fryer chicken recipes
Salad with breaded chicken breast
Chicken Parmesan
This Chicken Parmesan Recipe is so easy. It’s great for a quick meal served with a side salad and garlic bread. Just air fry your Aldi Red Bag Chicken in the air fryer, then top with marinara sauce and, some grated parmesan cheese and handful of shredded mozzarella. Place it on foil and then pop it back in the air fryer for another 2 minutes to heat the sauce and melt the cheese.
If you don’t like putting foil in your air fryer then you can just finish in a pre-heated oven for 3-4 minutes until you cheese is golden and bubbly.

How to make Aldi Red Bag Chicken in your Air Fryer
Honestly, I just put the frozen breaded chicken breasts in the air fryer at 400 for 15 minutes and it’s perfect for me.
Some people spray their air fryer baskets with their favorite cooking spray before placing the frozen chicken breasts in the basket. I find this to be an unnecessary step so I don’t do it, but if you have an air fryer where food often sticks to the grate, then go ahead and spray before cooking. I don’t have this problem with my Corsori Air Fryer.
