Instant Pot 10 Quart
Since originally writing this article I have found that the amount of 10 quart pressure cookers has decreased. The Instant Pot 10 Quart model has been discontinued.
The other brands I originally recommended also no longer seem to carry the 10 quart model either.
The only one I have been able to find readily available is the 10 Quart Pressure Cooker made by the Crock Pot Brand.
10 Quart Pressure Cooker by Crock Pot
This 10 Quart Pressure Cooker is great because you can use it as a pressure cooker or a slow cooker. It is a true multi-cooker and allows the same type of functions that were available with the 10 Quart Instant Pot.
Even though the Instant Brand has discontinued their 10-quart Instant Pot Duo Nova model. That same electric pressure cooker is still available in the smaller 6 quart instant pot and 8 quart instant pot models.
The good news is there is a 12 quart pressure cooker available from MegaChef

What sizes of Instant Pot are available?
There are many different sized instant pot pressure cookers available on the market. The Instant Brand, which is the maker of the Instant Pot has a range from 3 quart mini instant pot to the 8 quart instant pot size.
the CrockPot Brand, MegaChef Brand have larger pressure cooker sizes up to 12 quarts.

What is the largest size Programmable Pressure Cooker?
Instant Pots are available in three sizes. They have a 3-qt instant pot model, 6-qt instant pot model, and 8-qt instant pot model. Other brands have larger models, like the 10 quart Pressure Cooker from CrockPot and the 12 quart Pressure cooker from MegaChef. Both of these larger models allow for slow cooking as well as pressure cooking. The size of the pressure cooker will determine what you use it for. The smallest models are best for 2 person meals and side dishes, where the largest models are great when cooking for a crowd or if you have a larger family. I love that the larger models also have a slow cooker option. The less devices I have to have the better!
How much liquid is needed in a 10 Quart Pressure Cooker?
This typically depends on the recipe, but if you are using a trivet about a cup of water is usually sufficient for cooking. If making a soup or stew then obviously more liquid would be required.
Is the Instant Pot Dishwasher Safe?
All of the parts of the instant pot are dishwasher safe except the cooking base. You can put the inner cooking pot and the entire lid in the dishwasher but I would recommend removing the sealing ring from the lid for a better clean. I would also recommend removing the valve parts only so they don’t accidentally fall off and get lost in your dishwasher.
What is an Instant Pot 10 Quart?
An instant pot is an electric pressure cooker. It is used by home cooks. The 10 qt indication is indicating the size of the inner pot that you cook the food in. It means that you can cook 10 quarts of food in the pressure cooker. Other common sizes are the 6 quart pressure cooker and the 8 quart pressure cooker. There is another type of pressure cooker that can be used on the stove top, but Instant pot is used to refer to the electric pressure cooker style of pressure cooker.
