The Vitamix is another kitchen Appliance I can’t live without!
I use the Vitamix for everything I need to purée. It’s great for making whole food recipes and family meals. I often use it for soups and sauces. My kids use it for making smoothies, my husband uses it to make ice drinks. It’s a very versatile blender, but my favorite thing about the vitamix is its ability to purée anything to a smooth consistency. I’ve been using the vitamix for about 15 years and haven’t up until recently found another blender that can handle ice and frozen fruit the way it can.
The Vitamix e320 Exlorian Blender is a high performance blender. It is great for making healthy whole food recipes. It has a low profile 64 oz container and has many optional accessories and alternative containers as well. The low profile container allows it to fit under most standard cabinets. It’s priced well for such a performance model and it’s built to last with an incredible 7 year warranty.

Is the E320 Explorian series blender easy to use?
This blender is very easy to use. You just place your ingredients in the blender container, place it on the base and turn the motor on. Adjust to one of the ten variable speeds or use the pulse function right from the controls on the base.
Is the Vitamix E320 safe to use?
The Vitamix e320 Blender is safe to use. It comes with a BPA free container. The blade is in the container so if you pull the container off the base the motor will stop running. This model has a radial cooling fan and thermal protection system
Is the Vitamix E320 Explorian blender easy to clean?
It’s a self cleaning model, so all you do is pour in a bit of dish soap and warm water and run it for a few minutes. Then dump out the dish soap and warm water mixture, rinse and let it drip dry.
Is the Vitamix E320 Explorian blender dishwasher safe?
The Vitamix e320 Blender container is dishwasher friendly, however you should never submerge the base. I personally prefer to use the self cleaning for the container right after using but it can washed in the dishwasher if you forget to do it right away.
Easy Cleaning
It is easy to remove the container from the base and clean the container. Simply add dish soap and warm water, then run the machine for about one minute. Then dump the warm water out, rinse and let it air dry.
Can the Vitamix E320 make hot soup?
Yes, the speed of the vitamix blades is capable of creating steaming hot soup in under 10 minutes.

The Vitamix e320 Blender is powered by 2.2- HP motor blades. It has ten variable speeds and a pulse feature. It has a separate power switch so you can switch speeds seamlessly without having to shut down the machine.
Is Vitamix E320 dishwasher safe?
The whole Vitamix E320 assembly is dishwasher safe except for the motor base.

Is the Costco Vitamix different?
Costco has two unique Vitamix models: the 5300 and 6500. These models have been created specifically for Costco as a less expensive option that fits under typical cabinet doors. This is a combination between an older base with a new shorter/large 64oz container.
What is the warranty?
The Vitamix e320 Blender has a very generous 7 year warranty on this model. There is no extended warranty.
Does this model have a pulse feature?
The Vitamix e320 Blender does have a pulse feature as well as ten variable speeds. You use this feature to use the model like a food processor. You can pulse the ingredients to make chunky salsas and chunky soups.

Does this model have a tamper?
Yes, this Vitamix e320 Blender comes with a tamper.
What is a tamper?
A tamper is a tool that is used to help move very thick ingredients in the blender. You take off the clear button in the middle of the lid (where you can pour liquid into the blender while running) and you can place the tool in the hole to push the ingredients in the blender container closer to the blades.

Can I make thick vegetable soups with this blender?
Yes, you can make thick purées or thick chunky soups with this blender. Our Butternut Squash and Sausage Soup recipe uses the vitamix blender to purée some of the butternut squash, the apples and some of the broth to make a thicker consistency soup. We also use the vitamix e320 explorian blender to make our hearty Pasta Fagioli Soup.
What are differences between the e310 and e320 models?
There are three key differences between the Vitamix e310 model and the Vitamix e320 Blender model.
